Another key member of staff joins our expanding team

Bedrock Business Finance have added another key member of staff to their expanding team. Dominic Walford has joined us to work as a Consultant and Development Manager with Bedrocks growing portfolio of professional introducers in the South West, focusing mainly on Devon and Cornwall.

Gary Spencer, Managing Director at Bedrock commented 'Dominic joins us from Commercial First, one of the leading commercial mortgage lenders, where He worked as a Business Development Manager maintaining and developing successful working relationships with introducers.'

'Dominic also has had considerable experience as a commercial mortgage broker and has won many awards during his years as a broker including The Financial Advisers "Overall Mortgage IFA Mortgage Broker of the Year in 2005". His understanding of the broker market, commercial finance and the needs of our professional introducers will be invaluable to both Bedrock and our clients.'

Dominic said 'It's great to work with experienced brokers like Bedrock and being able to assist introducers like Accountants, Solicitors and Mortgages Brokers in helping their clients businesses move forward. I specialise in all forms of commercial finance and want to use my previous years as a successful broker and more recent time with a market leading innovative lender to good use. New location for a growing Bedrock

Bedrock Business Finance has recently moved to larger office premises to meet the continued growth in business and to provide more room for staff.

The new offices in Ilsham Road, Torquay provide additional office space and offer modern and comfortable surroundings for client meetings as well as the extra space for expansion.

Gary Spencer Director said: "The Company was established in 2004 and since then we have arranged over £100 million of business funding for clients. There is still significant demand for business mortgages with clients still very keen to purchase hotels and guest houses in Torbay. In addition we have found it necessary to expand to keep up with the demand for commercial finance from clients who wish to either remortgage their commercial premises to achieve better terms or to raise additional capital for their business."

Bedrock is delighted to announce their continued kit sponsorship deal with Torquay Athletic RFC.

Bedrock Business Finance who specialise in arranging commercial loans and business funding for its clients first sponsored TICS with their kit in 2006. Gary Spencer Director said: "As a local company we are delighted to be continuing our sponsorship with Torquay Athletic particularly as they had such a good campaign last year. It was fantastic to be present at the Devon Cup Final when Torquay beat local rivals Paignton to lift the trophy for the first time in 27 years."

Gary continued that the sponsorship of TICS fits very well with the Bedrock business. Both are ambitious, we both promote to Torbay and the surrounding area and whilst the rugby club wants to maximise the potential of its players we seek to maximise business potential of our clients through the funding solutions we provide.
